Enjoy a relaxing evening on the waters of Icy Strait, just outside of Glacier Bay National Park on the M/V TAZ, a 50’ long vessel with seating for 23 passengers and an open back deck for viewing and photography of the whales and wildlife.
They depart from the Gustavus City dock which is approximately 9 miles from Glacier Bay Lodge and head out to Pt. Adolphus, a nutrient-rich feeding ground for several types of whales, including humpbacks, which summer in Alaska to feed before migrating back to Hawaii for the winter. Complimentary hot drinks including coffee, a wide variety of teas, hot chocolate, water, and snack bars.
