Glacier Bay Lodge & Tours offers a variety of packages to experience Glacier Bay National Park. There are no roads to Glacier Bay National Park, and Gustavus is the closest city with air service. In the summertime, daily jet service and commuter flights operate from Juneau to Gustavus, and commuter flights operate from Skagway and Haines. Ferry service operates on Fridays and Sundays and departs from the Auke Bay Small Boat Harbor. The Whale Watch Dinner Cruise operates on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Cancellation Policy: For cancellations 31 or more days prior to stay, a 10% cancellation fee applies (a 10 day grace period applies after booking). Within 30 days of stay, a cancellation fee of 100% applies. This special is based on availability and is valid on new bookings only.

Whale Watching with Dinner Package

Spend a relaxing evening on the waters just outside of Glacier Bay National Park on our exclusive Whale Watch and Dinner Tour!

Departing on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, this adventure takes you across the Icy Strait to Pt. Adolphus, one of the most renowned whale feeding grounds in the world. Humpback and Orca Whales, along with sea lions, seals, porpoise and other marine wildlife, indulge in these waters just outside of Glacier Bay.

Departing at 5:30pm, and lasting approximately three hours, this Whale Watch and Dinner Tour features a full service dinner on board the vessel. The trip arrives back at the Lodge about 8:30 pm, with plenty of time to enjoy the evening in the Fairweather Dining Room or watch the sun set behind the Fairweather Mountains from the deck.

Due to Coast Guard Regulations, prior to boarding the vessel, we will request the names of all passengers booked and Photo ID may be required.
